Front Page article appeared in the Mid Beds Times & Citizen on 17th
December 2009. This gives quotes by Central Beds Council leader
Tricia Turner, Councillor Tom Nicols and Jim Shepherd (CRAG) and
lists 11 possible sites in the area.

The
first newspaper item was in the Beds on Sunday on 6th
December covering the initial protest in the village at the
Lodge Road site.

The
Cranfield Express (January edition published mid December) confined
the coverage to a letter from a councillor saying that the Lodge
site was now "off the list" and the printing of two of our letters.
There was no editorial or mention of the URL of this dedicated campaigning
web site. Very disappointing for our local newspaper.
